June 18-20, 2024, QHYCCD proudly participated in the SPIE Astronomy Telescopes + Instrumentation 2024 in Yokohama, Japan. This biennial event, organized by the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE), brought together astronomers, engineers, and researchers worldwide to discuss and showcase the latest advancements in telescope technology and instrumentation.
During the conference, QHYCCD highlighted its extensive range of high-performance scientific cameras, including the QHY411Pro with a large 54mmx40mm sensor, the QHY4040 featuring a 4Kx4K square sensor, the advanced planetary cooled camera QHY530Pro with global shutter, the full-frame cooled camera QHY600Pro, and the QHY990 series short-wave infrared cameras equipped with Sony InGaAs sensors.
The QHYCCD booth attracted numerous attendees, including customers who praised the performance of QHYCCD products in their projects and expressed gratitude for their reliability. Many representatives from universities and research institutions engaged in discussions about their specific needs and project plans with QHYCCD staff throughout the event.
After the exhibition, the QHYCCD team visited the conference’s poster sessions to explore the latest research directions and topics in astronomy telescopes and instrumentation.
We found some projects using QHYCCD cameras there, including researchers from the Institute of Optics and Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences showcased their solar telescope projects utilizing QHY4040 and QHY990 scientific cameras.
QHYCCD’s participation underscored not only its technological prowess but also its role in advancing China’s presence in the global astronomy community. This event serves as a catalyst for QHYCCD’s ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence.
