QHY9-C OSC CCD, Astro-Tech AT8IN f/4 Imaging Newtonian + MPCC
24*600 at -20C with a Baader 7nm Ha filter
Atlas EQ-G with EQMOD, FS-60C + DSI Pro I Guided
Camera control, mount control, guiding, dithering, calibration [30B|30D|30F] and DS Mask combined in MaxImDL
Processed in PSCS2 with GXT and Noel Carboni's Actions

Not strange at all....it is the best of both worlds. Exceptional color with ease of shooting........much less expensive and I believe the narrowband results speak for them selves!

Perhaps you could call it unconventional!

I am surprised by the good performance of CCD-color for narrowbanding

No apology necessary. The narrow band results with tue Color Q are amazing. I like to shoot Ha when the moon is out. I was doing this for years with a DSLR with decent results. This is much better.
