As astronomy software has evolved over time, some links come along which should be shared.  Please share your findings on this thread. 

The following are a mix of software links, some of which operate with multiple platforms, some of which are Linux only.    Some are available in several languages, only the English language links are listed here, but, do not be discouraged by this.  Explore the link pages to find all the possibilities.
