What do you mean with "other drivers" Do you mean drivers for other cameras or drivers for the applications?

Thanks for replying Tom. Let me understand this all. Do the other drivers for the QHY8Pro only work with the selected applications. I have in the past installed the driver for the QHY8Pro then used Nebulosity as my capture program. I now cannot get nebulosity to see the camera with anything other than the Ascom drivers. The same seems to happen with the QHY5 and PHD Guiding. Thanks Doug Braidwood

Hi Doug,
this is not in my control. You'll have to ask the author of the respective software is he wnat to add this support; Not sure really if there is a real advantage as all of these apps support ASCOM

Hello,
For 32bit WINDOWS7 maybe original version works. Of course this version works also. And we are trying to make EZCAP work in this new driver these days.
Best regards,

Hello Qiu,
I see that you are writing 64 bit drivers for the QHY camera range but I do not see the QHY6 being written for. Are you planning on writting the drivers for the 64 bit drivers for the QHY6 for Windows 7 and Vista ?

Great to see EZCap working with 64 bit drivers now.
I have found that i cannot go more than binning of x2 in the Planner of EZCAP 1.8. Can you look at this please.
Thanks.
Theo.

Hello,
The Planer is always not support the binning more than 2*2bin. I will consider to add it in future version if it is needed.
Best regards,

ASCOM drivers with fintone support whuold be available very soon. I have coded up for the Finetone and motor heating settings onder the QHY9 and I just need the final register information to make all of this live. I'll post when I have something to test

Alastro,
as per post in the other toppic, I currently do not have plans to make these drivers for the QHY2. There have been no updates to the QHY2 drivers since the last version release In addition to that the firmware would not be supporting the new features as described for the QHY9. So basically this would not add to the functionality of the camera.

Tom or Dr. Qiu, can you check why the links to the QHY-5 Ascom drivers are dead ?. Both from the link on this forum post and also from Toms site directly.
Thanks.
Theo.

Theo,
I am redoing the website at this moment but I'm having some sudden health problems preventing me to go to the workplace and finish up. Should be up and running again hopefully today or tomorrow.
