QHYCCD driver for WINDOWS VISTA/7 64BIT here (EZCAP x64 version added)

Hello ALL,

       We will post the QHYCCD driver for WINDOWS VISTA/7 64BIT version here. These version is beta test version. We are tested it in windows7 64bit system and it works well. Any problem please report here.
These driver includes:   QHY5,QHY5T,QHY5V,QHY8,QHY8PRO,QHY9.


        EZCAPV1.8 x64 version is only works in these new drivers.



Note: This 64bit driver works in 32bit system also.



   
        Here is something about the 64bit driver and applications till today:

1. The driver is ok
2. EZCAPV1.8 x64 version works with these driver
3. ASCOM driver on AstroSoftBe works with these driver

4. Nebulosity driver (directly, not ascom) has not upgrade to 64bit
5. The PHDGUIDE and GuideMaster (directly, not ascom) has not upgrade to 64bit
6. The MAXIMDL plugin (directly,not ascom) has not upgrade to 64bit

QHY9 Driver

The current QHY9ASCOM driver has a bug in Normal readout . It will hold 5minutes after readout then display the image when check the "No USB during readout". This bug is under fixing.

Will this QHY9 driver work with Windows XP?

Do I need to uninstall any previous QHY9 drivers or will this simply replace it?

If I do need to uninstall them how do I do this?

         Yes it works in XP. You can use the uninstall tools to remove old driver. The install tools can be found in http://www.qhyccd.com/astrosoftbe.html

Terrific work! I got my QHY8 to work on Vista x64 with the ASCOM drivers.

It seems to work , but have anyone gotten the QHY5 up and running with PHD guide? I can't make it work, and I suspect that the PHD guide plugin cannot communicate with the new driver. Any thughts on this?

You have to use the latest version of PHD guide and connect the camera under ASCOM, not under QGuider or QHY5.  You have to make sure to also install the ASCOM drivers and ASCOM platform.

I have managed to get  both my QHY8Pro and QHY5 to work with Ascom drivers but was unable to get any of the other drivers to work on a 64 bit sempron computer.

Advice welcomed.
