Hooking a QHY 247C to an M42 male thread on an ONAG

Hooking a QHY 247C to an M42 male thread on an ONAG

I?m looking at getting a QHY 247C camera.  That?s the great news.  The bad news is it has to connect to an ONAG-CT (On Axis Guider) that utilizes an M42 (.75) male thread to mount the camera.  This works for my Canon 7D Mk II and a T mount, but might be a bit awkward for the QHY 247C.

What I need is to mount the camera to the male M42 threads, and work in an 2? IR cut filter.  Any suggestions on the pieces parts I need to accomplish this??

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

247 front cover has M54*0.75 FEMALE THREAD .
You can get some solution through the following link:
http://www.qhyccd.com/files/QHY168%20for%20camera%20lens%20%20en.PDF
http://www.qhyccd.com/files/2%20inchIR+OAG+M54%20EN.PDF
But for the M42 (.75) male thread , you should customize one adapter. And you should pay attention to the backfocus.

Best Regards!
