Hi all,
I am finishing a new  TheSkyX X2 driver which internally utilizes QHYCCD's SDK driver and want to release it next week.
It works fine on Linux and all cameras I have here, but I still to test test it on Mac. I have to say, that QHY183M is not implemented yet,
so I will try to do that also. The QHY128C has some issue during sensor readout, so I try to fix it too.

There are several changes, based on Richard S. Wright from Software Bisque, mainly new methods which scans all QHYCCD cameras on
USB busses. User should now add (plug in) another camera to TSX on the fly. The driver (SDK driver used by X2 driver) now supports
up to 5 cameras per instance.

Further huge changes (inside the SDK driver only) are based on recommendation from Jasem Mutlaq, mainainer of INDI driver. So, we all
are in close cooperation.

The good thing is that now, I can run two QHY cameras on TSX, one as imager, second one as a autoguider. There were several issues
in previous SDK driver related to multithreaded support, so now it seems to work well in concurrent mode.

I am sorry for very late answer, but there was (and still is) a lot of work on the SDK driver, I would like to finish ASAP.
I will keep you informed.

Thank you,
Jan

I noticed there might be a regression in the 1.06 installer.. It does not appear to copy the usblib file... The 1.05 installer did this... If you install 1.05 first, then install 1.06, it will copy the usblib file into the correct location and I do not get the 217 error anymore

Hi all,
I just released qhyccdx2plugin-v2.0.5-Linux-Debian-Ubuntu-x86_64.tar.gz and qhyccdx2plugin-v2.0.5-Linux-Debian-Ubuntu-x86_64_with_logger.tar.gz versions of TheSky X2 driver which adds support for QHY128C, QHY183C and QHY183M cameras running  under Debian/Ubuntu linux. Version with "_with_logger" will print messages from the driver to the stderr stream. Please try it if you have some problems with this driver and send those logs to my address: astrosoft@email.cz

Isn't this the Mac Forum Thread ?

Hi all,
there is a new version of TSX X2 driver (v2.0.9) which should solve problems with the driver if no camera is attached to USB bus.
Hope, this will work also on your site.

Hi all,
there is a new version of TSX X2 driver (v2.0.10) . The delivery should contain all previously missing header and library files.
Please note, that demosaicing for QHY128C still has to be implemented because camera produces 16bit raw data.

Hi Jan.
I quickly tested the X2 plugin with a PoleMaster.
First issue was that the dylib looks for libusb in /usr/local/lib ... where I have a 64bit version of it installed (latest from git). I also have a 32 bit version elsewhere so was able to put it there to test.
I would suggest you statically link libusb.a in the plugin instead of using the external dynamic lib (I do this in one of my X2 plugin and it works great).
This will make it easier for the non technical users.
I've written a few X2 plugin and I have scripts to build a proper installable pkg if you want.

Rodolphe
